Hyderabad: Taking serious exception to the remarks of the Vijayawada MP Mr Lagadapati Rajagopal on Telangana issue, the YSR Congress Party Chief Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s staunch follower and Congress MLA Mr P Srikanth Reddy has made it clear that the (YSR Congress) was committed for united Andhra Pradesh only, and asked as to who is Mr Rajagopal to make statements in favor of Telangana, being a representative of the Seemandhra region. (Mr Rajagopal has reportedly stated he would accept T state, if there was no demand for smaller states in other parts of the Country).

Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Wednesday, Mr Srikanth Reddy expressed doubts on the credibility of Mr Rajagopal, asking him as to why he changed his stand on Telangana issue overnight. He made it clear that the Rayalaseema people were committed to United Andhra slogan. He alleged that Mr Rajagopal was making such statements posing himself as a champion of the Seemandhra movement.
