Infosys team meets CM, reveals expansion plans

Hyderabad: A delegation led by Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of INFOSYS Group S Gopalakrishnan called on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy here at Secretariat on Tuesday and explained their development plans of Pocharam Project which is situated next to Singapore Township on Hyderabad – Warangal Road.

The Pocharam campus is the fastest growing campus of the Infosys in the State.

Mr Gopalakrishnan informed the Chief Minister that Infosys proposes to expand its Pocharam Project up to 25,000 employees in two phases, in which 14,000 will be in first phase and 11,000 in second phase.

The Infosys CEO said that 4,000 employees are already working at this campus and a total 19,000 employees are in their Gachibowli and Pocharam Campuses.

He also informed that Infosys crossed IT exports of one billion Dollars from their Hyderabad campuses.(INN)
