Hyderabad: Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday assured to extend his country’s know how in the Information Technology sector to Andhra Pradesh.
State Information Technology Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah, who is currently camping in the Israeli capital Tel Aviv sent a brief note through his aides stationed at the Secretariat, stating that he had briefed the Israeli Prime Minister about the extensive connectivity programme in the state.
Mr Lakshmaiah is in Israel presently to deliver a key-note address at an International Seminar on the IT sector.
According to Mr Lakshmaiah’s note, Netanyahu is understood to have evinced keen interest in the IT programme and the broadband programme which had been going on in the state.
He is also believed to have expressed his appreciation to Mr Lakshmaiah.
The Minister has been engaged in the deliberations relevant to IT sector during his visit to that country.(INN)
