Injured KKR wicketkeeper Brad Haddin will be replaced by Mark Boucher with the South African joining the Knight Riders in time for their clash against Deccan.
Haddin will return home to Australian due to a fractured middle finger, an injury sustained while on Australia’s recent tour of Bangladesh.
The 35-year old Proteas veteran is an able substitute for Haddin, with Boucher having been part of Bangalore’s IPL challenge over the past three years.
Venky Mysore, the CEO & Managing Director of KKR said: ” we are very disappointed that Brad will be leaving the squad and will not take further part in IPL4. In a short period, Brad had made his presence felt both on and off the field.
“We are fortunate to have someone like Mark Boucher as Brad’s replacement. Mark comes with a lot of experience and a terrific track record in all forms of the game.” Cricket365
