Sri Lanka have excluded Lasith Malinga and Angelo Mathews from the their Test squad to take on England.
All-rounder Mathews is still recovering from the quad muscle strain that ruled him out of the ongoing Indian Premier League, while the injury-prone Malinga’s ability to last a five-day game is constantly in doubt.
