Hyderabad: The Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who was an ardent devotee of Bhagwan Satya Sai Baba was deeply perturbed on hearing about his sad demise. He is reported to have said that he was sad that his God died on his birth day.

Mr Sachin Tendulkar, who has arrived along with his family members, to participate in the match of his team Mumbai Indians with Deccan Chargers has cancelled his birth day celebrations planned on April 24. From Sunday morning, Sachin spent in solitude in his hotel room where he hung the board ‘Do Not Disturb’. He has not even spoken to his team colleagues.

However Sachin appeared to have decided to participate in the Match. When the bus of the Mumbai Indians was starting for the stadium, Sachin’s colleagues were worried that the Master has not boarded. They waited for him for a while. However, Sachin has finally boarded the bus, to the relief of his mates. Sachin Tendulkar has not retired from a match he was playing even when he heard the news of the death of his father. Such was his commitment to the game and the country. (NSS)
