England set Sri Lanka 230-run target

Colombo, March 26 (IANS) England set a competitive 230-run target for Sri Lanka in their cricket World Cup quarterfinal match at R. Premadasa Stadium here Saturday.

Jonathan Trott top-scored with 86 while Eoin Morgan hit a quickfire 50 in England’s 229 for six in 50 overs.

Muttiah Muralitharan was the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka, picking up two wickets for 54 runs.
