Mohali, March 10 (IANS) Ireland’s batsman Niall O’Brien heaved a sigh of relief Thursday after his kit bag that had gone missing Sunday after their match against India in Bangalore was finally found.

Ireland team manager Roy Torrens confirmed that the bag, which had six Gary Nicollas bat, was traced to Indian team’s luggage room at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

“Niall won’t have his bats for Friday’s match against West Indies here. The bag would be transported directly to Kolkata, where the Irish squad will arrive Saturday for their last two encounters against South Africa and the Netherlands,” said Torrens.

Media manager Barry Chambers also rubbished reports that Niall lost his temper and smashed the glass door of the dressing room after being run out during the match against India in Bangalore.
