Dhaka, March 20 (IANS) Having cruised to the World Cup quarterfinals by topping group B, the South African cricket team had a relaxed Sunday as they waited to know their opponents in the last eight stage.
“A lot of them are resting. Some of them went shopping,” South African media manager Lerato Malekutu told IANS.
A couple of South African players, including Dale Steyn, were seen chatting at the hotel’s coffeee shop while some others went out to try their hand at golf.
In the afternoon, as the India-West Indies match started, most of them went to coach Corrie Van Zyl’s room to watch the game on television.
