Hyderabad: Task Force sleuths on Sunday foiled a murder conspiracy by apprehending four persons, including a rowdy sheeter and three pick pockets, who were planning to eliminate members of their rival gangs.
According to Task Force officials, the arrests were made following a tip-off.
The police said that Mansoor alias Kala Kavva, Ataullah Khan alias Chawoosh, Younus alias Fammu, and Khaja were arrested while two of their accomplices, Abbu Ali Khan, a notorious Rowdy-Sheeter and Khaja alias Chota Khaja were absconding.
The police said that an axe, one sword, and two daggers were also seized from the possession of the arrested accused persons.
Giving details, the police said that an informant revealed that Mansoor and his associates Ataullah Khan, Younus and Khaja were in possession of deadly weapon and picked up.
During interrogation, they revealed that they had rivalry with the gangster Fayyaz, a rowdy-sheeter of Rein Bazaar police station and his gang-members who maintain a gang of pick-pockets.
In the recent past, each groups made attempts to eliminate the members of the other gang.
An earlier attack on Mansoor had left his hand disfigured, the police said.
In January, Abbu Ali Khan and Mansoor, along with some of their associates attacked Azeem and Ismail Biyabani with knives. They are the members of Fayyaz Gang. In this connection two attempt to murder cases were booked at Shah Inayath Gunj and Shalibanda police stations.
After coming to know that the Fayyaz Gang is planning to eliminate Abbu Ali Khan and Mansoor, they gathered their friends and associates Ataullah Khan, Syed Khaja, Younus, Chota Khaja and hatched a conspiracy to retaliate and eliminate Fayyaz and his gang members.
For this, Mansoor procured four lethal weapons and gave to his associates.
Mansoor, in 2004, had joined the gang of Pick-Pockets maintained by Gangster Fayyaz, Rowdy-Sheeter of Rein Bazaar and was involved many cases. He was the prime and main income generating source of income to Fayyaz. Recently, he was arrested by Task Force Police in two attempt-murder cases of Shalibanda and Shainayath Gunj, Hyd. In the last month, he was arrested by Chaderghat Police for his involvement in a pocket-picking case.
Ataullah Khan, in 2007, was arrested by Chandrayangutta Police for his involvement in a theft case. The case is still pending.
Younus was arrested in a theft case by Charminar Police in 2001.
In 2007, he along with his elder brother Parvez and friend Shia Feroz were arrested by Task Force Police for possession deadly weapons. In the year 2008, he along with his elder brother tried to murder one Miskin, who is a prime accused in his father’s murder case. Out of the said three two cases of Arms Act and attempt-murder are still pending against him.(INN)
