Noida, Feb 15 (IANS) A 25-year-old man preparing for Common Admission Test (CAT) – the gateway to pursue MBA in Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) – committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his bedroom here, police said.

Asif Raza, a resident of Lucknow, was preparing for CAT-2011 and was living in Noida.

His roommate, Sachin, found Raza hanging from the ceiling Tuesday evening. No suicide note was found.

“His family has been informed. It seems a case of depression since he was unemployed since long,” said Superintendent of Police H.N. Singh.
