Chirpy and vivacious Adah Sharma went missing from B-Town immediately after her debut film 1920.
Now, this pretty woman is making a comeback in another horror flick, Phhir. And she once again teams up with Rajniesh Sharma. So are they compatible? She says, “This time, I’m not paired opposite Rajniesh in the film, so there aren’t any romantic scenes. But, Rajniesh will always be special because he was my first hero.”
So what’s with her vanishing from Bollywood for almost three years? “I was busy completing my graduation in performing arts. I specialized in kathak and it feels awesome. Besides after my debut film I was really looking for a good role.”
Adah who’s done her share of TV commercials is now working on two films – Hum Hain Rahi Car Ke and an untitled film. Adah in fact insists that as an actor she is trying to explore myriad genres and would like to, “do movies which I’d enjoy watching. I look forward to doing substantial roles with which I can identify.”
As an actor Adah confesses that she’s “very greedy” and “wants to work with everyone in the industry” and “keep shooting each day of my life.” As far as her future plan of action is concerned, Adah is clear about what she wants, “I have always wanted to be an actor and that’s what I am doing. So, I am not going to direct or produce a film in the future.”
On a parting note we ask Adah if she’s got a someone special in her life? There’s a reserve in her voice as she quips,”May be, I’ve got someone special in my life. But I am not going to talk about my love life. That would make boring copy.” TOI
