Mahesh Bhatt, who was in town recently to promote his play The Last Salute, said that the Bhatt family will not be taking any legal action against Pakistani actor Meera for allegations levelled against him.
My wife Soni, was all set to sue her, but I told her not to. You don’t break your teeth if it bites your tongue. Meera is a mentally disturbed woman and it shows in her actions. She made controversial statements in Karachi as well, but fooled no one,” Bhatt said. “She is unable to accept the fact that she is not young anymore and will not get the kind of roles that she wants.
I told her with folded hands that the demands of the audience is for somebody younger. It’s a sad story of a girl and you can’t get angry with her,” he added. Meera had accused Bhatt of slapping her and had even turned up at his place at midnight. Standing by her husband, Soni Razdan had said that she will sue the Pakistani actor. But it seems that Bhatt has decided to let it go and forgive and forget. “Even my wife is upset with my tolerance. She was against letting Meera off so easily but I decided not to give her any more attention,” he signs off. TOI
