If actress Abbie Cornish wanted to promote her movie “Sucker Punch,” she should have been in last month’s Esquire instead of the May issue. Maybe if enough guys had seen Abbie like this, the movie wouldn’t have tanked at the box office! Abbie told Esquire that she hopes to see more parts for female action heroes.
“There hasn’t been a film like this. Hopefully in the future, it’ll be normal for females to do an action film. Women can be just as strong and interesting in these roles as males.” She added, “That character was an experience for me. Playing someone that tough was hard work.” See more of Abbie in Esquire after the jump. Agencies
