London, March 29 (IANS) British royal bride Kate Middleton had a “low-key” hen-night with just a few of her closest friends.
The party – organised by the maid of honour, Kate’s younger sister Pippa – was held at a friend’s house.
Kate, 29, was joined by her friends, including Astrid Harbord and Olivia Bleasdalem, who shared a flat with her and Prince William, 28, at St. Andrews University.
“She has already had her hen night, but it was certainly very low-key. There isn’t such a tradition attached to hen nights as there is to stag parties. It was done privately. Not all of Kate’s friends were there, and she will be catching up with other friends over the coming weeks,” The Sun quoted a source as saying.
Prince William’s stag party was held at a country estate Saturday.
