London, March 26 (IANS) Actor Robert Pattinson has revealed he is scared of horses and admits he was terrified when he had to film a scene with one for his latest “Water for Elephants”.
The 24-year-old actor had to work with a menagerie of animals while shooting for “Water for Elephants”, but says coming face-to-face with horse left him particularly shaken.
“I had to get knocked down by a horse. That was terrifying. It was just one split second but it was a fully grown stallion. I’m kind of relatively scared of horses as well,” contactmusic.com quoted him as saying.
The “Twilight” star, who acts opposite Reese Witherspoon in the film, says he was relieved that he was not asked to ride the horse during filming.
“I’m just glad I didn’t have to ride any of them. I’m not particularly good at horse riding.”
