A.K. Khan flags off 40 new busses of APSRTC

KhanNew APSRTC buses, an alternative to private transport options like cabs and autos, as the corporation has launched 40 new buses in various IT corridors.

APSRTC Vice-Chairman & Managing Director Mr. A.K. Khan and Cyberabad Police Commissioner CV Anand flags off in Gachibowli on Tuesday.

This initiative was taken up by the Cyberabad police in coordination with APSRTC, to ensure security and convenience of IT employees, especially women.

A.K. Khan said 250 more buses, some of them AC, would be pressed into service depending on the patronage for the 40 buses launched now. “We are not looking for profits but we don’t want losses either. And if companies ask for our bus services, we are willing to provide them, A.K. Khan said and appealed to IT employees to utilize the bus services.
