Hyderabad: Finding fault with the Telangana Congress leaders for claiming that Hyderabad belongs to them, the Seemandhra Congress leader, Mr Anam Vivekananda Reddy, has asked the former whether they would leave Hyderabad if the Nizam demanded it.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan after meeting the PCC Chief, Mr Botcha Satyanarayana, Mr Vivekananda Reddy said the Hyderabad City belongs to all. He alleged that the Telangana leaders were spearheading Telangana movement only for the sake of ministerial berths. He also alleged that some leaders, who remained silent till last year have changed their mind and plunged into the movement for securing posts.

Justifying the demand for Samaikyandhra, he said he was totally in favour of Greater Rayalaseema State. The Congress high command would take a right decision keeping the people’s safety in view, he added. Stating that the people of Andhra and Rayalaseema regions were in favor of United Andhra Pradesh, he said the State will be developed only when it was big and linguistic based.
