The Telangana Rashtra Samiti president, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, on Monday said Andhra Pradesh was afflicted with a serious disease and a surgical separation of Telangana was the only solution to cure the ailment.
Donning the role of a doctor by wearing a stethoscope during the doctors’ maha deeksha programme at Gandhi Hospital here, Mr Rao cautioned Telangana leaders in all political parties against falling prey to the conspiracy hatched by Seemandhra leaders to break their unity and asked them to quit all elected posts again to bring pressure on the Centre to carve out Telangana.
“An urgent surgery is needed for ailing AP. Telangana has to be surgically separated so that the people of the region can have self rule and improve their lot. Telangana did not get justice in Samaikhya Andhra Pradesh and it will never get justice,” Mr Chandrasekhar Rao said.
He added, “We should stand and withstand. Our unprecedented unity after a long gap has sent shivers down the spine of Seemandhra leaders. Let us all resign again.”
The TRS chief also asked Telangana leaders to stay away from the government sponsored Independence Day celebrations and hoist the national flag along with Telangana flags as was done earlier. Deccan Chronicle
