Hyderabad, Feb.12 (NSS): Telangana Auto Drivers Joint Action Committee, which has given a call for Auto bandh from February 11, has called-off the bandh for the time being and instead, approach the A P High Court in a couple of days, on their demands.

Convenor Mr Mohd. Amanullah Khan said in a press note here tht they would go to the High Court challenging the police inaction towards sharing autos illegally plying on city roads causing lawlessness and indiscipline, seeking freedom to auto drivers to fix their fares just like the freedom given to the state-run oil companies to review the petro rates from time to time basing on the international market crude oil rate and also would challenge the defective revised auto fare charts issued by the Traffic police deliberately calculated to cause a loss of 80 paise to Rs.3.20 to auto drivers in every km distance starting fro, 10.5 km to 25.5 km distance.

He said that from now on, it is going to be a legal battle against the authorities. (NSS)
