Hyderabad: The Telangana Auto Drivers JAC has appealed to the auto drivers in twin cities not to ply their autos on March 10 afternoon and join the “Million March” rally being taken out from the Charminar to the Tank Bund under the banner of “Charminar ke Char Siphai—Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Isaai” demanding immediate formation of separate Telangana State.
In a pressnote here, the JAC convenor, Mr Mohd Amanullah Khan, has condemned the arrests of the Telangana activists in all 10 districts of the region. He also condemned the arrest of the Minority Cell leader, Mr Mohammed Ali. He warned the State government not to test the patience of about four crore people of the region. He also warned that the government alone would be held responsible for the consequences.
Appealing to all sections of the people of the region in general and working classes in particular to take part in the “Million March” on a massive scale and make it a grand success, he called upon the people of the region to exercise utmost restraint while holding peaceful demonstrations. (NSS).
