Hyderabad: The TDP suspended leader, Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy was also angry at the remarks of Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad. He said the AICC leader has no right to ask for consensus on Telangana.

Dr Nagam also criticized the city police commissioner. He said the CP was scuttling the democratic rights of the people’s representatives. Alleging that the CP was twisting the Supreme Court verdict, he said he would move a contempt motion against him in the Assembly.

Stating that Telangana State was the aspiration of four crore people of the region, he said he would not withdraw his resignation until Telangana was conceded.

Meanwhile, Dr Nagam has written a letter to the Prime Minister requesting him to settle the Telangana issue at the earliest. It is also learnt that he had mentioned about Mr Azad’s remarks in that letter.
