Baba Ramdev to launch nation wide Satyagraha against corruption

Hyderabad: Popular Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev of Bharat Swabhiman Organisation is launching an indefinite hunger strike and Satyagraha throughout the country from June 4, demanding eradication of Corruption. Baba Ramdev is participating in the satyagraha at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi, along with one lakh people in the presence of well-known spiritual personalities and representatives of social oganizations.

This was announced on Monday at a media meet here by Mr G Sridhara Rao, President, Mr anand Kumar Sharma, Matha Nirmala of Bharat Swabhiman Trust, AP.

They said the agitation was necessitated due to the non-responding attitude of the Union Government towards the justified demand of the people that the Rs.400 lakh Crores of black money kept in other countries be declared as a National property and it should be brought back; that the resolution of ‘UN Convention against Corruption” be ratified by the Parliament and that the British laws should be replaced forthwith by suitable laws for Indian ways of life as well as culture.

The venue for the hunger strike programme in Hyderabad will be Gymkhana Grounds, Secunderabad, from 10 am on June 4.
