Hyderabad: Mr Nandamuri Balakrishna, tollywood leading actor and brother-in-law of TDP chief Mr N Chandrababu Niadu, has refuted the talk of “succession war” between the Nandamuri and Nara families with regard to leading the Telugu Desam Party, and claimed that it was purely a media creation.
Mr Balakrishna visited the residence of Mr Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday to greet the latter on his 62nd birthday. Speaking to the media later, MR Balakrishna expressed his wish that the Telugu Desam Party should be back in power again in the State under the leadership of Mr Chandrababu Naidu, and proper justice should be done to the State under his leadership.
Dismissing the talk of “war of succession”, Mr Balakrishna said that both the families were in good terms and maintained that the media should put a permanent halt to such talk since it was its creation.
The former Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr Om Prakash Chautala wished Mr Chandrababu Naidu on his 62nd birthday. In addition to him, many other prominent politicians and cine actors also wished him on the occasion. (NSS)
