The PCC chief, Mr Botsa Satyanarayana, is planning to float Congress yuva sena in every district to counter the exodus of Congress activists to YSR Congress party floated by Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and give a boost to the local youth leaders by luring them with political posts.
It is well-known that some of the ministers relatives have either joined or are planning to join Mr Jagan’s party with a hope to get party tickets from different Assembly constituencies.
Sensing this, the PCC chief on Monday arranged a meeting of the relatives of some of the ministers in the Cabinet and told them to build a yuva sena in their respective districts while continuing in the Congress including offering them political posts.
Mr Aravind Reddy, son of the minister, Mr Erasu Pratap Reddy, Mr Vikram Goud, son of minister Mr Mukesh Goud, Mr Kartik Reddy, son of the home minister, Ms Sabita Indra Reddy, Mr Dharmana Manohar, son of R and B minister, Mr Dharmana Prasada Rao, Mr Phanindra, son of minister, Mr Kanna Laxminarayana, Mr Krishna, son of minister Mr P. Viswaroop, Mr Shravan son of MLA, Mr Rajender, and Mr Asish, son of MLA, Mr Nandeswar Goud, have attended the meeting convened by the PCC chief at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday.
