Hyderabad: The PCC President Mr Botsa Satyanarayana has said today, in reply to a question on how he would work with the Chief Minister, that while the Chief Minister was the head of administration, he was head of the party that was running the administration. He said he would work in close coordination with the Chief Minister. He has however dismissed reports that he has become a second power centre.
He was participating in a ‘meet the press’ programme organized by the Andhrta Pradesh Union of Working Journalists here. When asked about his holding two positions, he said he would abide by the decision of the party High Command. To another question, he said he was treating every other party including the YSR Congress as an opposition party.
Mr. Botsa has said that the local body elections should not be construed as a referendum on the performance of the government. He has however said that the results should be analyzed. He has said that nominated posts would be filled up soon. He said it was true that he was keen on growing up as a political leader. But hastened to add that it was not through back door methods.
