Botsa told to back united AP

Hyderabad: The Pradesh Congress Chief, Mr Botsa Satyanarayana, was almost gheraoed by JAC members and students at the local airport here on Sunday evening.

The agitating members demanded the PCC chief to announce that he supported a united Andhra Pradesh. The students wanted to meet him but the police personnel stalled them at the main gate. Mr Satyanarayana was at the airport to meet the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, who made a transit halt. Mr Satyanarayana ignored the students.

They got angry and raised slogans against him. They also had heated arguments with the police. As the slogans continued the police dispersed them and took some of the students into custody. Deccan Chronicle
