Hyderabad: Demanding that the party high command refrain from appointing anti-Telangana leaders in all posts, the Congress Action Committee for Telangana (CACFT) has warned the State party affairs in charge, Mr Gulam Nabi Azad, that he would face similar fate of his predecessor, Mr Veerappa Moily, if he submits false report on State politics to the high command. The CACFT also demanded that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi to shun its party flag to fight for the cause of Telangana and for floating Telangana United Front.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Friday, the CACFT leaders, Mr K Yadava Reddy, Mr K R Amos and Mr Palvai Govardhan Reddy, said that it was not proper for the TRS to oppose other parties participating in Telangana movement carrying their own party flags.
Assailing the former minister, Mr Gade Venkata Reddy, for claiming that the State government was not in favor of separate Telangana, Mr Yadava Reddy asked the former whether he was party’s official spokesperson or was part of the Cabinet to make such an irresponsible statement.
Condemning Mr Venkata Reddy’s statement that he had explained against Telangana to Mr Azad, Mr Yadava Reddy said that Mr Azad has to report facts to the high command otherwise he would meet the fate of his predecessor. He also said that the CACFT would respond if Mr Azad submits false reports to the high command. Urging the high command not to give any posts to the anti-Telangana leaders, Mr Yadava Reddy said that the CACFT would oppose appointment of match-fixers and coverts in the posts.
Daring the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, to take away all his coverts continuing in Congress party, Mr Amos said that Mr Jagan should stop indulging in loose talk disturbing the Congress families. He also asked Mr Jagan to respond to the allegations leveled against him instead of making rubbish statements. He also made it clear to Mr Jagan that the Congress government would continue till 2014 and Congress governments will continue in both the Telangana and Andhra States if the State was bifurcated before 2014.
Alleging that there were two types of TDP Telangana leaders, Mr Palvai Govardhan Reddy said that while some were sycophants of Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, others were Telangana protagonists. Demanding that the TDP Telangana leaders make Mr Chandrababu Naidu pass a resolution in the ensuing Mahanadu, he urged Mr Chandrababu Naidu’s “sycophants” to introspect regarding Telangana issue.
Making it clear that CACFT was ready to float Telangana United Front (TUF) if the Centre fails to make a clear statement on Telangana issue before June 15, Mr Palvai urged the JAC leaders to prevent destruction of Telangana region by the Andhra leaders.
Dubbing the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee on Telangana as ‘Daridrula Committee’, Mr Palvai said that Nampally Court delivers good judgments than Mr Justice Srikrishna. He said that Justice Srikrishna Committee comprised of corrupt people. (NSS)
