An AN124 aircraft, one of the biggest cargo carrier, made an emergency landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Monday following inclement weather in Kolkata, where it was scheduled to land. The cargo was on its way from Moscow.
The cargo was scheduled to land in Kolkata airport but due to inclement weather conditions, the flight was diverted to the city and after clearance from airport authorities here, it made a landing around 4.15 a.m.
The flight is likely to leave for Kolkata on Tuesday. Meanwhile, an Indigo flight bound for Kolkata was delayed for sometime due to adverse weather conditions there, airport officials said. Express Buzz
