Hyderabad: The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, has said that the Union government would take a decision very soon on the report submitted by the Justice B N Sri Krishna Committee on Telangana.
Talking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister appealed to all the concerned to maintain restraint till the Centre announced its decision on the matter. He also appealed to the Telangana agitators to withdraw the proposed Telangana bandh and sealing of Hyderabad on March 10, in view of the Class X and Intermediate examinations. The Chief Minister had admitted that he knew that the agitation was severe.
Replying a question, Mr Kiran said the government was yet to estimate the loss incurred due to the non-cooperation movement by the government employees and agitators.
Mr Reddy has termed as unfortunate, the firing incident in Kakarapalli of Srikakulam district. He said the police were ordered to ensure that there was no loss of life in any agitation.
Replying to questions, the Chief Minister said that the government would collect every paisa due to it from the Raheja and Emaar properties. (NSS)
