Hyderabad: Telangana Praja Front chairman and balladeer Gaddar has said that it has become very clear once again that the Telugu Desam Party president, Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, was a staunch integrationist. Therefore, the people in the region do not think that the Telugu Desam Party was working for separate Telangana State, he added.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, the balladeer said that nobody would believe that the TDP leaders of the region were working for separate State while remaining in the regional party of Seemandhra leaders. He advised the TDP leaders of the region to come out of that party and plunge into the agitation to prove their credentials.
Stating that the Congress party was deliberately delaying formation of Telangana, Gaddar said that the people in the region were not in a position to be taken for a ride by the Congress leaders in this regard. He said that they were not afraid of any number of SRCs as the Telangana agitation was going on for the last 60 years. He exuded confidence that Telangana State would come into being definitely as none would be in a position to thwart it. He also declared that his Telangana Praja Front would work with the Telangana Political JAC based on issues. (NSS)
