Hyderabad: The TDP Chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, attracted the attention of every one on the final day of Mahanadu on Sunday by coming to the venue in the typical Andhra style ‘Panchekattu’.
Several party leaders went to him and greeted him. They said the Panchekattu suited him very well.
On Sunday, the party would adopt the important political resolution. The meeting would also adopt some of the resolutions that could not be adopted on the second day, due to paucity of time. Resolution on Welfare will be adopted on Sunday. Issues of old age pensions, ration cards, pensions, housing, NREGP, youth welfare schemes, neglect of education and health sectors, inefficient rule, clipping of powers of local bodies, election reforms and so on would be discussed on the last day, apart from organizational matters.
Meanwhile, the suspended TDP leader, Dr Nagam Janardana Reddy, has requested the party leaders to adopt a resolution on Telangana at least on the last day. (NSS)
