Hyderabad: The Praja Rajyam party president, Mr K Chiranjeevi’s daughter, Ms Srija and her husband, Mr Shirish Bharadwaj, failed to attend counseling in the Nampally Court on Thursday. With this, the Legal Services Authority issued orders that the estranged couple should appear before the court for counseling on April 16 positively.

It may be mentioned here that Ms Srija left her husband’s house recently and went to her parents alleging that her husband and in-law were harassing her for money. She had also lodged a complaint with the CCS police that Mr Bharadwaj, who tied knot following love affair, was harassing her with the help of his parents.

When Mr Shirish Bharadwaj approached the court seeking anticipatory bail and pleaded for an opportunity to talk to his wife, the court suggested counseling for the couple. As the couple failed to turn up for counseling, the court adjourned the case to April 16. (NSS)
