City software engineer dies in accident in USA

Hyderabad: A software engineer from Hyderabad died in an accident in the Tennessee State of the USA recently.

According to the information reaching here, the software engineer died while trying to save his fiancée, who fell into a waterfall. The incident which occurred five days ago, came to light when the parents of the youth received the information through his friends.

The family of Panangipalli Krishna Murty of Amalapuram settled in the Medical and Health Employees Colony in Vanasthalipuram long back. Mr Krishna Murty has been working in the TATA project in Kota in Rajasthan while his wife and daughter live in Hyderabad. His son Jayaram (27) has gone on a weekend trip along with friends to the Burgess Waterfalls. When one of his woman colleagues fell into water, Jayaram sprang into water to save her from being drowned. However, as he does not know swimming, he got drowned in the water. His colleagues could however save the woman who fell into water, with the help of locals.

Mr Jayaram, who studied up to Class X in Amalapuram, studied Intermediate in Dilsukhnagar Chaitanya College and completed his B. Tech. in the HRD Engineering College in Devarakonda of Nalgonda district. He has completed his MS in the USA and got employment there. As Jayaram is the only son, the family plunged into deep sorrow. Family members said the body would arrive either on Saturday or Sunday.
