Hyderabad: Finding fault with the State BJP president Mr G Kishan Reddy for stating that Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy was the last Congress Chief Minister in the State, the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) made it clear that the Congress would come to power even in 2014 elections under the leadership of Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Speaking to the media at the CLP office here on Wednesday, the Legislative Council Whip Mr Y Shivarami Reddy has advised the BJP to concentrate on their own Party affairs instead of criticizing the Congress. He alleged that Mr Kishan Reddy has the history of defeating his own Party senior BC leader Dr K Laxman at Musheerabad constituency in the last elections. He said that Mr Kishan Reddy has to try to strengthen his Party to get increased number of MLAs elected in the next elections.

Making it clear that the Congress Party would emerge as a winner in the Kadapa by-elections, the AICC secretary and MLC Mr Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy said that it was not proper for Ms Konda Surekha to carry other Party’s flag, after winning from Congress Party.

MLCs Mr Rudraraju Padmaraju and Mr Thippeswamy were also present. (NSS)
