CM assures govt coop to AP paper mills

Hyderabad: The Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy today assured to extend all necessary cooperation from the State Government to the International Paper Company for the smooth functioning of A.P. Paper Mills, Rajahmundry in East Godavari District. A delegation led by Mr. John, Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Paul Brown, President of the International Paper Company, called on Chief Minister here today at Secretariat.

It may be recalled here that the U.S.-based International Paper Company purchased the successfully running A.P. Paper Mills, a 2500-employee Company. The International Paper Company is an American Pulp and Paper Company, the largest of such companies in the world. Its turnover is about 27 billion US Dollars and has approximately 59,500 employees and is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee.(NSS)
