Hyderabad, Feb., 16(NSS): The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, has assured the State BJP president and MLA, Mr G. Kishen Reddy, that the State government would not create any obstacle for the NDA meeting to be held in the Nizam College Grounds.
According to sources in the BJP, the Chief Minister, in a telephonic conversation, has assured all help from the government side for conducting the meeting.
It was earlier reported that the government was likely to deny permission to the meeting. Following these reports, Mr Kishen Reddy has warned the government that his party would block the Governor’s address to the joint session of the State Legislature. He has also gone to the High Court, seeking permission for the meeting. It was in this context that BJP sources said that the Chief Minister himself called Mr Kishen Reddy and assured him that they could freely hold the NDA meeting. (NSS)
