CM calls meeting of Telangana ministers

Hyderabad: The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, has called a meeting of the ministers from the Telangana region, who had submitted their resignations to their posts.

Administration was seriously affected as except the Deputy Chief Minister, Mr C. Damodar Rajanarasimha, and ministers Mr Danam Nagender and Mr Mukhesh Goud, no other minister was attending to duties. The Chief Minister has called for the meeting in view of the pressure being mounted on him by the party High Command.

It is learnt that the Chief Minister would try to persuade the ministers to withdraw their resignations and resume duties.

Komatireddy refuses to attend CM’s meeting

Meanwhile, Mr Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, has refused to attend the meeting called by the Chief Minister at his camp office. He said he has resigned for the sake of Telangana and would stick to his decision.

Pitani refuses to resign

Tirupati: The Social Welfare Minister, Mr Pitani Satyanarayana, has said that he would not resign for Seemandhra.

Talking to the media informally here on Saturday, he said he would abide by the decision of the Union government on the Telangana issue. He has however rejected the call that Seemandhra ministers and public representatives should also resign, like their counterparts in Telangana.
