Hyderabad: The Chief Minister, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday launched two websites of women development and child welfare, which helps finding missing persons, at a programme in the Secretariat.
The websites will facilitate the government to monitor the functioning of hostels and rescue homes of women and child in the State. The photos and details of inmates of rescue homes would be uploaded in the website. It will facilitate the people to find whether the missing child taking shelter in any rescue home.
Forthwith, it was mandate to get the license from the Government authorities concern to run the hostels and rescue homes of the women and child. The district Collectors and SPs were competent authorities to issue the license.
The Chief Minister directed the officials concerned on the occasion to interlink the website with the hotels and rescue homes of other states, if the website gave good results in the state. Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy also released rules of Women and Child Institutions (Licensing) Act.
