Hyderabad: The Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, rushed to the Owaisi Hospital today to visit MIM Floor Leader, Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, who was undergoing treatment there after an unexpected attack. He has directed the top Health officials to provide all the required medical care to Mr Akbaruddin.
The Chief Minister spent an hour and conferred with the Majilis MLAs and MLCs present there and enquired about the incident. Earlier, when the Chief Minister was participating in the inaugural function of the ESIC Super Speciality Hospital at Sanathnagar, he was informed about the incident. The Chief Minister immediately talked to the MIM MP, Mr Asaduddin Owaisi, over phone and enquired about the incident. He rushed to the Secretariat and held an emergency meeting and reviewed the situation with the Home Minister, Ms P. Sabita Indra Reddy, the Chief Secretary, Mr S V Prasad, the DGP, Mr K. Aravinda Rao, and other top officials.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to take all precautionary measures to maintain peace and order. The Deputy Speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar, the Minister for Panchayat Raj, Mr K Jana Reddy, the Home Minister, Ms P. Sabita Indra Reddy, the Minister for Women and Child Welfare, Ms Sunitha Laxma Reddy, the Vice-Chairman, National Disaster Management Authority, Mr Marri Sasidhar Reddy, the MPs V Hanumantha Rao, Mr Anjan Kumar Yadav, the Mayor of Hyderabad, Ms Banda Karthika Chandra Reddy and others rushed to the hospital.
The Chief Minister discussed the incident and the health condition of Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi with the Majilis MLAs who were in the Owaisi Hospital, Mr Virasat Rasool Khan, Mr Muktada Khan, Mr Syed Ahmed Pasha Qadri, Mr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, Mr Mohd. Mauzam Khan and the MLCs, Mr Syed Amin Jaffri, Mr Altaf Hyder Rizvi, and others. (NSS)
