Hyderabad, Feb 22: Describing the Chief Minister, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy’s reply on the motion of thanks to Governor’s address in the joint session of the Assembly as a “shameful act” in the history of House, the CPM has taken objection to the former giving reply without Opposition parties’ speeches on Governor’s address.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Tuesday, the CPM MLA, Mr J Ranga Reddy, alleged that the Chief Minister completed his reply within two minutes by accusing the Opposition parties, unlike the Governor who had finished his speech in 15 minutes.
Questioning the Chief Minister as to why the State government was wasting valuable time and public money without running the House properly, Mr Ranga Reddy said that the government might resort to guillotine without having a debate on ‘bills’. He also demanded that the government change its attitude at least now to run the House properly, otherwise there was no use of running the House. (NSS)
