Cong Members Asked To Actively Participate In Assembly Proceedings

Hyderabad, Feb., 16(NSS): The Government Chief Whip Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has appealed to the Congress members of the Legislature to actively participate in the budget session discussions, particularly on public issues. He exuded confidence that all the Congress members would participate in the session.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Mr Vikramarka said that the budget session is a very important one and it will deal with matters relating to the welfare of the people and development of the State. He urged the students not to worry about the fees reimbursement and said that the government has to release only 2010-11 amount for the scheme. He said that the present government has cleared all the dues of 2009-10 academic year. It was not correct to propagate that the government intends to pay the fees reimbursement selling the assets of SC/ST/BC corporations in the State, he said and added that the government is firm on paying the fees reimbursement to safeguard the students future.

Responding to a query, the Chief Whip said that he will implement the orders of the Disciplinary Committees of AICC and PCC, if any, against the MLAs who were sailing with the former MP Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

On no-confidence motion, Mr Vikramarka said that the government is ready face any sort of motion and to prove its strength, if the need arose. He requested the media to cooperate with the government keeping in view the welfare of the people.

MLCs Mr Rudraraju Padmaraju, Mr Kanukula Janardhan Reddy and Mr Rajeshwar Rao were also present. (NSS)
