Hyderabad: The TDP chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has alleged that workers of the TRS, BJP and Congress were attacking the TDP workers in the name of agitation.
Talking to the media here, Mr Naidu claimed that his party leaders were also agitating for Telangana. However, the TDP would not henceforth work with those parties for Telangana. He said that Congress party also would be kept at a bay.
The former chief minister has alleged that Mr Jagan and the TRS had colluded. He also charged the UPA government with giving more importance to merger of other parties in Congress than formation of Telangana. He said it was strange that the Chief Minister was stating that it was the Union government that has to take a decision on the Justice Srikrishna Committee Report and he had nothing to do with the matter.
STATE GOT NOTHING IN RAILWAY BUDGET
Mr Naidu has said that the State got nothing in the Railway budget. Stating that it was not the first time that the State was denied of its due share in the Railway budget, he said that it has been happening year after year. Despite having sent a strong contingent of members to the Lok Sabha and despite contributing a major chunk to the Railway revenue, the State was constantly being ignored, he lamented. He said the budget was neither useful to the country. (NSS)
