Hyderabad: Alleging that the government was running the House to fulfill the Constitutional compulsions only, the CPM has demanded the ruling Congress party to mount pressure on the Centre to make a clear statement on Telangana issue, to clear the uncertainty in the State.

Speaking to the media in the Assembly premises after the adjournment of the House on Friday, the CPM MLA Mr Julakanti Ranga Reddy said that the government would get a place in the Guinness Book of records for running the House in this unique way. He said that the government completed the reply formalities on Governor’s speech and on budget discussion without taking the opposition parties’ opinions on them.

He alleged that the government has failed to answer on slogans in the House in favor of Telangana as well as in favor of Samaikyandhra and said that the government was wasting the valuable time by spending crores of rupees of public. He found fault with the speaker for not allowing his three unofficial motions.

Responding to a question, Mr Ranga Reddy said that the Chief Minister Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy has totally failed in all aspects though he completed 100 days after taking oath as Chief Minister. (NSS)
