Hyderabad: Urging the Union minister and State Congress Affairs in-charge, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad, to create confidence in the Telangana people that he was impartial towards Telangana and Seemandhra leaders, the Telangana Congress Monitoring Group (TCMG) has dashed off a letter to the former requesting him to complete the consultation process before August 1.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, the TCMG chief coordinator and PCC general secretary, Mr Rapolu Ananda Bhasker and the TCMG organizer, Mr G Niranjan, said they would fight for Telangana State by continuing in the Congress party.
Stating that there was no need for taking opinion of the Telangana Congress leaders as all the Telangana leaders and people were demanding separate State for decades, they urged Mr Azad to complete the consultation process with the Seemandhra leaders within 10 days. “Mr Azad can talk to any one leader among Dr K Keshav Rao, Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy and Mr G Chinna Reddy if he wanted to discuss about the feelings of Telangana people”, they added.
Finding fault with Mr Azad’s remarks in China, they said it was not proper on his part to say that the process will be started from ‘Zero’ again. They also said it was not possible to pass a resolution in the Assembly as the Seemandhra MLAs were in majority.
