Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress senior MLA, Mr R Damodar Reddy, has said that the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, has responded in a positive manner when he appealed to him to discuss the Telangana issue with the Centre and party high command.
Speaking at the Assembly media point on Friday after an informal meeting with the Chief Minister and other leaders, Mr Damodar Reddy said that he urged the Chief Minister to convince the Seemandhra leaders not to object separate Telangana State and convince the Centre to start the process on creating separate State on the basis of December 9, 2009 announcement. He also said that he brought the 14(F) Clause issue to the Chief Minister’s notice. He said that he asked the Chief Minister to speak with the leaders of the three regions on the Telangana issue.
Responding to a query, Mr Damodar Reddy said that they don’t want anybody’s dictatorship on Telangana Congress leaders and added that they have not joined hands with the Political JAC. He also said that the Telangana Congress resigned MLAs would chalk out future course of action at meeting.
