Hyderabad: Stating that switching over to another party without resigning from the present one was unethical, the PCC Chief, Mr D Srinivas, has stated that the leaders, who were in touch with the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, even when Dr YSR was alive, were only joining Mr Jagan’s party.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, Mr Srinivas said that there were no Jagan coverts in the Cabinet. Some of the leaders have joined Mr Jagan’s party under influence, some voluntarily and some others due to publicity, Mr Srinivas opined. Making it clear that the ruling party would not be affected by the migrants, Mr Srinivas invited those leaders to return home and solve their problems, if any.

The PCC chief said that the talk of Second SRC was not floated the Centre or any other authority concerned and the talk was confined only to Uttar Pradesh. Stating that the statement of the Union Minister, Ms Purandeshwari, talking about second SRC was her personal, Mr Srinivas made it clear that there was no question of constituting Second SRC in case of Telangana as confirmed by the Union Home Minister, Mr P Chidambaram already.

Refuting the charges of the TDP Chief, Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, regarding farmers’ issue, Mr Srinivas said that it was not proper for Mr Naidu to criticize the State government though it was trying to solve the problems of farmers. (NSS)
