Don’t divide country into pieces: Kavuri

Hyderabad: The Congress MP, Mr Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, has appealed to political parties not to divide the country into pieces.

Talking to the meida here on Friday, he said that if new States were to be created on the basis of sentiment, the country would have to be broken into pieces.

He said the meeting of Seemandhra MPs called by the AICC in-charge of Andhra Pradesh, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad, was not on Telangana. However, he had abstained from the meeting. He suddenly appeared on the Assembly premises in the afternoon. He met the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.

He later told the media that his meeting was about the Kolleru issue. (NSS)

  1. The very word “Divide” should be questioned in this situation…..If decentralizing the political power mean dividing a nation, then why don’t one fight to “Unify” the nation??? Merge Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, TamilNadu, Karnataka….?? In this situation there would not be any fight for water or electricity…its “UNITED INDIA”…..

I pity the knowledge of these MPs, who come with an agenda to protect their political power, no matter what stance…. ! Hope to see leaders, who work for Bottom Top approach… !

I thank “Hyderabad Circle”, for its unbiased information …!
