Hyderabad: The Sarvajana Samkhema Mandali and Prevention of Suicide Committee, President ‘Krishi Ratna’ Vishwam has appealed to the people, who were facing debt problems, not to commit suicide.
Speaking to the media persons here on Monday, Mr. Vishwam said they would set up three zonal offices on August 21 at Kakinada, YSR Kadapa and Karimnagar to control suicides, due to debt-related problems. He said that they would constitute zonal committees comprising district collectors, superintendents of polices, district in-charge ministers, MLAs, MPs and social workers across the state to control suicides. He said they were striving to tackle debt-related cases within six months.
Mandali members Mr. T. S Naik, Ms. K. Sumalatha, Mr. Chakradhar Reddy and Mr. Vijay were also present.
