Hyderabad: Hyderabad District Collector, Mr Natarajan Guljar has said that conducting the A.B.C test for students is a must to unleash the inherent potential among them.
Mr Guljar convened a review meeting on the conduct of the A.B.C test for students at the Collectorate, here on Friday. The meeting was attended by the District Educational Officer, deputy educational officers and deputy superintendent officers.
The Collector has asked the officials to undertake the A.B.C test on April 15,16,18 and 19 in order to upgrade the educational standards. He also directed them to devise a C.D on the results of the test and furnish it to him before April 23. He stated that special training has to be provided to teachers during summer holidays for the purpose of conducting the A.B.C test more efficiently from the next academic year. He said that there was a need to provide training to the selected teachers who would take up spot valuation of SSC examination papers.
Mr Gujar reviewed the meetings of the Early Child Care Centre School Committee and conceded the request from the officials to depute volunteers to manage the E. C.E centers to make up for the shortage of staff. He further directed the officials to speed up the civil works in view of the ensuing summer holidays. (NSS)
